Agios Nikolaos / Market – Plaka /Spinalonga – Elounda

A visit to the beautiful city of Agios Nikolaos and the gypsy market. From there the bus takes us to Plaka: a traditional Cretan fisher village, located exactly opposite the island Spinalonga, better known as the leper island during the occupation of the Turks. After a visit to this island, we will head for the famous village Elounda for some coffee.

Knossos – Lassithi Plateau/ Cave of Zeus – Mohos

A visit to the 4000 year old archaeological site of the Knossos Palace which will make us understand the true genius of the ancient Greeks. After we will visit the Lassithi Plateauwith the traditional old windmills and a visit to the world famous cave of Zeus. We will end our day with a visit to the mountain village Mohos on the beautiful village square.

Rethymnon / visit to synagogue, catholic church and mosque– Akrotiri / visit to the real Zorbas village-Chania / Old town.

We will visit the beautiful city of Rethymnon to see the ‘religious triangle’, where Islam, Judaism and Catholicism meet. We will proceed to Akrotiri to see the exact spot where Anthony Quinn’s famous Zorba-dance was filmed and will visit the original tavern from the movie. Concluding our day there will be time to shop in Chania, also known as ‘little Venice’ due to its beautiful Venetian architecture.

Agios Nikolaos / Markt - Plaka / Spinalonga - Elounda

Ein Besuch in der schönen Stadt Agios Nikolaos und dem Zigeunermarkt. Von dort aus bringt uns der Bus nach Plaka: ein traditionelles kretisches Fischerdorf, genau gegenüber von der Insel Spinalonga, besser bekannt als, die Leprainsel, während der Besatzung der Türken. Nach einem Besuch auf dieser Insel, gehen wir zum berühmten Dorf Elounda für einen Kaffee.

Knossos - Lassithi-Hochebene / Höhle des Zeus - Mohos

Ein Besuch, in der 4000 Jahre alten archäologischen Stätte von Knossos Palace, wo wir das wahre Genie der alten Griechen kennenlernen. Nachdem fahren wir auf die Lassithi Hochebene , vorbei an den traditionellen alten Windmühlen und besuchen dann die weltberühmte Höhle von Zeus. Wir werden unseren Tag beenden mit einem Besuch im Bergdorf Mohos ,auf einem sehr schönen Dorfplatz.

Wir werden die schöne Stadt Rethymnon besuchen, um das "Religiöse Dreieck", wo der Islam, Judentum und Katholizismus zusammen kommen. Wir werden auf Akrotiri gehen, um die genaue Stelle, wo der berühmte Zorbas-Tanz von Anthony Quinn gedreht wurde. Dort werden wir die ursprüngliche Taverne aus dem Film besuchen. Zum Abschluss unseresTages fahren wir nach Chania, auch als "Klein-Venedig" bekannt , wegen seiner schönen venezianischen Architektur.
